Dr. Jason D. Nicholson

Dr. Nicholson is a board-certified periodontist. He attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Following completion of his dental training, he next pursued a specialty in periodontics at the University of Oklahoma Graduate Periodontics program. Here he completed his three year residency with a certificate in periodontics. During his residency he also completed a master’s program during which he earned the graduate student association award for outstanding academic achievement.

Board certification is a choice and symbol that represents a level of commitment to care that is second to none.
Board certification is not a requirement to practice periodontics following a three year residency.
Dr. Nicholson chose to complete his board certification to ensure his knowledge and skill set met or exceeded the highest levels of care that have been established in the field of periodontics.

He is a published author in a peer reviewed journal.

He also holds membership in the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association and the Utah Dental Association.
